ProQuest Announces Exclusive Agreement to Distribute Snapshots International Market Research Reports
ProQuest to offer reports online to the academic market through ABI® databases Divided line

ANN ARBOR, Mich., June 23, 2003 - ProQuest Company's Information and Learning unit announced an agreement with Snapshots International to distribute the publisher’s market research reports via the ABI family of business research databases. The exclusive full-text agreement allows ProQuest to distribute 4,600 Snapdata reports electronically to educational institutions and libraries worldwide.

“Snapshots specializes in top-line international market research reports covering a broad range of countries and industries. Its overviews give users instant in-depth relevant data on market share, distribution and vital 5-year market forecasts,” said Steven Hall, senior vice president, publishing for ProQuest Information and Learning.  “The reports broaden our offering to academic researchers and business students with even greater currency and detail.”

The reports are delivered in PDF format and each report provides an instant overview of a market, with data supplied in both graphical and tabular format for ease of interpretation and analysis. Key industry coverage includes automotive, energy and utilities, healthcare, over-the-counter pharmaceuticals, transportation and wireless communications. Users may search by country, by industry or by keyword.

Snapshots reports contain market size with five years’ historical data, market segmentation, market shares with web links to the major players, distribution, five year market forecasts, socio-economic data from The Economist Intelligence Unit, , and sources for further research including trade associations – a complete market research toolbox.
