ProQuest Launches New K-12 Website
SIRS® and eLibrary® product information, rich resources for teachers and students now in a newly designed format Divided line

ANN ARBOR, Mich., June 16, 2004 - ProQuest Information and Learning has launched a new website for its prize-winning K-12 products. The newly designed site is a rich repository of product information and resources for school librarians, media specialists, teachers and students from early elementary through high school. ProQuest Information and Learning, a unit of ProQuest Company, creates and publishes databases for libraries and educational institutions worldwide.

The new site, www.proquestk12.com, replaces ProQuest’s existing K-12 websites. It provides one-stop shopping for all eLibrary and SIRS products, support and news in an easy-to-navigate website with a fresh graphic design.  Subscribers may access both the SIRS and eLibrary product lines from the home page.

Users will discover many new features, as well as the best of the existing K-12 websites, including:

  • Product  Information  Centerwith basic information about all of ProQuest’s K-12 products, including data sheets, title lists, and additional resources
  • Library Support Materials including hands-on tools to get new subscribers up and running, along with user guides, resource notices, presentations, and much more

  • Funding Guides designed to help librarians demonstrate the value of the products to school leaders who determine library budgets
