ProQuest, Factiva to Extend and Expand Distribution to Libraries Worldwide

ANN ARBOR, Mich., January 14, 2005 - ProQuest Information and Learning announced an extension and expansion of two agreements with Factiva. Under the expanded distribution agreement, ProQuest continues to provide the latest news and business information from Factiva to academic and public libraries, now on a global basis. In an information provider agreement that brings broader access for customers, ProQuest continues to provide Factiva with key newspaper and journal content for integration into Factiva products.

Factiva, a joint venture between Dow Jones and Company and Reuters Group - two of the world's leading providers of business and financial news – offers comprehensive coverage of essential business content, including the exclusive combination of The Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, Dow Jones and Reuters newswires, and the Associated Press.  By providing authoritative full-text electronic coverage of the world’s most credible and credentialed sources, Factiva enables users to monitor and understand the challenges of today’s business environment.
